Launch of New exclusive Importer to the U.S.A Somerdale International

British and Irish cheese exporter Somerdale International soon will bring an award-winning blue cheese to the United States for the first time.

Somerdale described Cashel Blue as a “modern classic Irish blue cheese” with “melt-in-mouth” layers of flavor. The company said it will showcase the semi-soft cheese at the Specialty Food Association’s Winter Fancy Faire 2026 this month in San Diego.
